THE GOOD NEWS IS....

On Sunday, (yes, the one that just passed) there was a special programme for the "freshers" in my place of worship and I was meant to make a citation. I was all ready to "nail it" but just at the last minute I totally backed out. No, I didn't make a fool of myself in front of so many newbies and "refreshers" cause I didn't even make it to the podium at all.
I guess I just felt that what I was going up there to tell others had everything to do with me and so I promptly established eye contact with my pastor before he could call my name.
And just because I knew I had deprived some people the opportunity to hear this when they really should, I felt I should put it up so my conscience can at least "free me" a bit.

 

Here it goes...
"I wonder how many people are here who like me are thinking...
I have looked away from You Lord again,
Help me to look upon You again.
I have walked away from You again,
Help me to walk with you again.
I have not read your word again,
Lord give me a hunger for Your Word again.
I have lost my faith in You again,
Lord give me faith to trust You again.
I have disappointed You again,
Lord, strengthen me so I won't disappoint you again.
Free me Lord from this vicious circle, grant me the victory found within You in the power of Jesus Christ' blood, for always....
Amen"
Romans 8:1-2, "So there is now no condemnation waiting those who belong to Christ Jesus. For the power of the life giving Spirit and this power is mine through Christ Jesus who has freed me from the vicious circle of sin and death." That's great news.
